CFSC assists projects in support of Friends’ concerns through these committees:

Quaker Peace and Sustainable Communities Committee

The Quaker Peace and Sustainable Communities Committee (QPASCC) assists Friends in following their leadings to work in partnership with Quaker Meetings, Quaker organizations, individual Friends and attenders, and others who share our concern for sustainable, healthy and educated communities overseas and in Canada.

Quaker Aboriginal Affairs Committee
The Quaker Aboriginal Affairs Committee (QAAC) seeks to increase Friends' awareness of the concerns of Aboriginal Peoples. QAAC focuses on land and treaty rights and self determination. It is involved in work at local, regional, national and international levels.

Quakers Fostering Justice
Quakers Fostering Justice (QFJ), in keeping with Friends' testimonies and advices concerning peace, justice and equality, holds as its long-term goal the fostering of a way of life that is both just and compassionate. This includes creatively sharing our understanding that while harm and conflict will continue to be a part of the fabric of human experience, when hurt we should not respond with punishment or prisons.

Quaker International Affairs Programme Committee
The Quaker International Affairs Programme in Ottawa seeks to bring together actors on all sides of an issue or conflict at the international level to provide opportunities for mutual learning (through briefings and research), off-the-record dialogues, and the attainment of peaceful solutions to conflict. The Programme is non-partisan and rooted in the practice of “quiet diplomacy”.
